Did you get the birthday card I sent?
Well, actually it was an e-card
I looked at it, then meant to send
but I couldn't figure out how.
Then I was going to post something
on Facebook, but I had already
shut my computer down
and it takes so long to restart.
So I thought of messaging
you on my i-Phone, but
Messenger had shown you as
not active for over a week,
I thought you might not check it in time.
Finally I tried to instant message you
but I lack your phone number
and contact info in my directory.
So I figured our paths would cross
eventually. You know I don't remember
dates well. So when we meet,
remind me to wish you a happy birthday.
