spoonful N Rewrite. Moved to WP

I found a spoon by the wheel of a dumpster
outside of the dorms nearby my work.
It was of a style I had admired at my
local Target store doing my weekly rounds
scouting for items I might one day buy.
They are sturdy, handsome, yet reasonably priced
when purchased as settings with spoons and knives.

This one featured a black plastic handle
and though I preferred handles of red or blue
to compliment what I imagined might someday
be the color scheme of my future kitchen
Nonetheless, this spoon might fill another
purpose I'd discovered since leaving home.

I always believed from past experience
that every can of coffee came with a
little yellow plastic scoop designed only for
precisely measuring  scoops of ground roast.

Much to my dismay, after having purchasing
three cans of Folgers, and 2 cans of Kroeger
deep roast I've had to conclude that this is
no longer true, and I've had to scoop my
coffee using a tea, or tablespoon
borrowed from my room mates drawer, from where I must
bum all of my kitchen utensils for now.

It's an awkward proposition, tilting
the can more and more, trying not to spill
the precious contents of the can onto
the sink, floor, or counter. It's not nearly
as easy as a plastic scoop would be.

So I picked up this spoon by the trash bin
tossed it to the floor mat inside of my car,
brought it home, washed it extra super good
bent the neck over near the cup of the spoon
about ninety degrees, and now I have
an ideal coffee scoop and no longer
have to dig through a fresh can of coffee
searching for a  plastic scoop that's not there.

 I thought hmm...
I've been looking for something like that for something,
